POTATO CASSEROLE




\POTATO CASSEROLE WITH CHEESE AND SMOKED SAUSAGE



*LIST OF INGREDIENTS:


°3 large potatoes; cut into pieces and boil.


°4 large spoons. of softened butter.


°4 large spoons. All-purpose flour.


°2 cups whole milk.


°¼ teaspoon black pepper.


°½ teaspoon salt.


°½ pound Velveeta cheese.


°½ cup grated cheddar cheese


°1 pound smoked sausage cut in half lengthwise, then sliced.


°¼ teaspoon smoked paprika.


*PREPARATION:


Step 1:


To start, heat the oven to 350 degrees.


Step 2:


In a buttered 9.13-inch baking dish, combine the mashed potatoes, sausages and egg.


Step 3:


To melt the butter, place it in a saucepan and cook over medium heat. In a saucepan, combine the flour and butter with a whisk and cook for one minute.


Step 4:


While stirring, gradually add the milk. In the saucepan, combine the Velveeta, salt and pepper and stir continuously until the Velveeta is completely melted.


Step 5:


After pouring the cheese sauce over the sausage and potatoes, mix everything together to combine.


Step 6:


Finally, sprinkle with grated cheddar and paprika. Cook for 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
