*Ingredients :
°1 homemade puff pastry or pure commercial butter or 200 g of sweet pastry
°2 eggs
°50g sugar
°1 teaspoon vanilla extract
°4 heaped tablespoons heavy cream
°2 heaped tablespoons ground almonds
°3 large golden apples
°30 g semi-salted butter
°15g vanilla sugar
°Icing sugar for dusting (optional)
*Preparation :
Preheat the oven to 180°C
Wash and peel the apples then cut them into cubes and sprinkle them with lemon juice so that they do not darken.
In a skillet, melt the semi-salted butter. Add the apples, vanilla sugar and sauté for a few minutes. Remove and set aside at room temperature.
In a bowl, break the eggs, add the sugar, the vanilla extract then whisk until the mixture whitens. Add the cream and mix well. Then add the ground almonds. Mix well. Book cool.
Unroll the puff pastry, put it in a baking pan (buttered and floured) and prick the bottom with a fork. Arrange the apples and cover with Norman cream.
Baking for about 20 to 25 mn. Check the cooking of the pie with the tip of a knife: there should be no more moisture on the blade.
Once the pie is well cooked and golden, remove it to a wire rack. Sprinkle icing sugar over the pie if desired.
Serve it warm or cold and Enjoy!
