Peach cobbler






*ingredients


6 to 8 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced


1 stick unsalted butter, melted


1 cup flour


1 cup of sugar


1 cup brown sugar


° 1 tablespoon of baking powder


° ¼ teaspoon salt


1 cup of milk


° 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract


1/2 lemon juice

Preheat  oven 375 degrees F


Pour melted butter in the center of a 9 by 13-inch baking dish, do not spread the butter around the pan.


In another bowl, mix the flour with a glass of sugar, salt and baking powder.



Slowly pour in the milk and vanilla extract, mixing well. Pour the dough over the butter, but do not stir.


Add the brown sugar, peach slices, and lemon juice to a saucepan over high heat. Stir often until the sugar is completely dissolved and the peaches release their juice.


Pour the peach over the mixture. Don't move.


Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until cobbler is golden brown.


Serve hot or cold, or with a scoop of ice cream.
